Gary Dean Oliverius December 28, 1944 – January 23, 2019 Gary was born to Lewis and Juanita (Munn) Oliverius on December 28, 1944 and passed away on January 23, 2019 in Roy, Utah after a short battle with cancer. He married Margaret Gallegos in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1981 and moved to Roy, Utah in 1982. Gary retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years in 1986.

He then worked at the Clearfield Job Corp for 8 years and moved on to the Weber Basin Job Corps, counseling at risk youth for another l2 years. He loved his “Job Corp Kids”, watching them take a better road in life. He stayed in touch with several of them over the years and treasured their friendship and love.

Gary loved to go fishing with his brother-in-law Jim Gallegos and best buddy Mike Mclver. He never missed a chance to “go wash worms! ” His greatest joy was going to Oregon, Wendover, and Las Vegas.

Slot machines was his favorite pass time. Gary was the type of man who loved people openly and forever. He leaves behind his wife Marge of Roy, Utah; a sister Barbara (Ken) Cox of Austin, Texas; a brother Duane (Sheila Hendry) of Dolan Springs, Arizona; a daughter Michealline Williams of Mississippi and two grandchildren.

His love and heart he leaves with three very special people: His sister-in-law Patti Prettyman of Roy, Utah; brother-in-law Jim Gallegos (Marilynn Eskridge) of Uinta, Utah; and niece Juli Duffy of Las Vegas, Nevada. These three people showed so much love and care to Gary. The amount of time they shared with him at doctor appointments, treatment centers, and hospitals shows love that is without measure.

He also valued his relationship with sister-in-law Mary Mesa, Laramie, Wyoming who shared with Gary his last day on earth, along with his niece Debra Carey. Gary’s love for all of you will never die. To my husband: “Across the years I have walked with you, in deep green forests, on shores of sand.

When our time on earth is through, in heaven too, you will have my hand”. Gary’s memorial and interment will be held at later date in Greenhill Cemetery, Laramie, Wyoming. Services under the direction of Myers Mortuary Roy, Utah Send condolences to the family at www.
