Obituary for Michael Alan Carter Michael Alan Carter, age 63, was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland on February 13, 1954, son of the late Adam Carter and the late Alene Coulson. While in Davie County he worked as a Groundskeeper and Supervisor. Michael was an artist and enjoyed reading.

On December 16, 2017, he died at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem following an extended illness. He is survived by one brother, Terry Carter of Mocksville; four sisters, Sandra C. Money, Pamela Everhart, Louise Beck and Sharon Griffey all of Mocksville. The family will have a private memorial service.
