Geiger, 62, of New Tripoli, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill campus. He was the husband of Donna M. (Bechtel) Geiger to whom he was married 39 years last August 11. Born in Allentown, July 17, 1956, Michael was the son of the late Harold W. and Ruth C. (Kutz) Geiger.

He was employed as a leak technician at Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. in Allentown for 28 years before retiring in 2015. Michael was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Slatington. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Donna; son, Adam M. Geiger and his fiancé Julie L. Fritz of New Tripoli; daughter, Kristin M. Sonday and her husband, Jeffrey of Hamburg; brother, Steven H. Geiger and his wife, Laurel of New Ringgold; aunts, June Peters and her husband, Merlin of Abilene, TX, Joan Cascari and her husband, Richard of Schnecksville; several nieces and nephews; canine buddy, Roscoe and grand-dogs.

Service: A memorial service will be held 2:30 pm. Sunday, February 3, 2019 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Karen A. Yonney officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 1:00 – 2:30 pm. Sunday. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.
