Theresa’s Obituary Theresa Ann (Gonda) Hartner, 75, of Slatington, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg campus surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John R. ”Jack” Hartner. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, April 19, 1943, Theresa was the daughter of the late Michael Jr. and Anna (Konyu) Gonda.

She was employed as a technician at the former Lucent Technologies in Allentown for 30 years before retiring in 2003. Theresa was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville. She will be forever remembered for the love she shared with her family and cats.

Theresa enjoyed reading, gardening, attending concerts, lunch outings and daily coffee klatch with her friends. Survivors: Children, Sharon L. Caton and her fiancé , David Jabara of Slatington, Joseph M. Hartner and his wife, Heather of Danielsville; siblings, Thomas M. Gonda and his wife, Marsha of Bethlehem, Michele K. Grammes and her husband, Roark of Trexlertown; grandchildren, Tara Caton and her fiancé, Michael Valentine of Pine Grove, Tyler Caton of Slatington. Service: Memorial services will be held 11:00 am.

Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Gordon A. Camp officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 – 11:00 am.
