Obituary for Michael J. Stolz Michael J. Stolz, 56, of Greene Township, passed away after a courageous battle from cancer, on Wednesday November 11, 2018 at Golden Living Western Reserve surrounded by his family. He was born in Erie on March 28, 1962 a son of Martin D. and Agnes A. Sullivan Stolz. In addition to his parents survivors include one daughter, Rachel Karpo and her wife, Rachael, of South Dakota; one grandson, Christian; his life partner, Pamela Carbonetti of Erie; one sister, Katherine Stolz of Erie; two aunts, Kay Bayhurst who was also Michael’s Godmother, and Colleen Shadle and her husband, Gene, all of Erie; three nieces and one nephew.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Hospice of Metropolitan of Erie and Western Reserve Healthcare and Rehabilitation for the care they gave to Michael. Funeral services and burial were private in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd.
