Obituary for Mildred C. Woolridge Mildred C. “Millie” Wooldridge, age 94, of Edwardsville, Illinois died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon. Millie was born September 19, 1924, in Edwardsville the daughter of the late William & Augusta (Klenke) Gieseking. She married Alvin E. Wooldridge on May 19, 1946.

He preceded her in death on October 4, 2008. She is survived by 2 sons, Bruce A. Wooldridge & wife Kelly of Whitehouse, Texas and Steven S. Wooldridge of Wylie, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Richard Wooldridge of Phoenix, Arizona, Adam Wooldridge of Whitehouse, Texas, and Kimberly Rae Wooldridge of Dickenson, Texas; 4 great grandchildren; 2 daughters-in-law, Linda Wooldridge of Collinsville and Audrey Wooldridge of Fairview, Texas; one sister, Wilma Halbe of Owatonna, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Richard Wooldridge, 1 granddaughter, Julie Wooldridge, and 1 sister, Florence Gieseking.

Millie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Edwardsville where she was formerly active in the Lutheran Braille Workers & Trinity Alter Society. She was a 50 year member of the Home Extension. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. John Shank officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
