Millard’s Obituary Millard Jack “Buddy” Crabtree passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the age of 92. Buddy was born on August 6, 1926 in Louisa KY, son of the late Elmer and Nellie Crabtree. He worked for the C&O Railroad.

He loved hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Melva June Crabtree; son, Elmer Blakley “Buster” Crabtree. He was the last of his parents’ children, having outlived four sisters and one brother.

Buddy is survived by his children, Elaine Crabtree of South Charleston, Tamaria Crabtree of Cocoa FL, Raymond Crabtree of Cross Lanes, and James (Susan) Crabtree of South Daytona Beach FL; grandchildren, Carolyn (Roger) Bird, Stephen (Nina) Crabtree, Justin (Anna) Crabtree, Angie (Chad) Cato, Kari Woodson, Carrie (Michael) Bleichwehl, and Christine (Jason) Corsberg; great grandchildren: Zachary Bird, Mackenzie Taylor, Aidan Cato, Ainsley Cato, Kaitlyn Woodson, Lila Woodson, Michael Bleichwehl, Alexander Corsberg, and Nicholas Corsberg; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the chapel at Graceland Memorial Park in South Charleston. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Buddy’s life.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
