Larry’s Obituary Larry A. Cowley, 77, of Hurricane passed away on February 24, 2019. Larry retired from Union Carbide / DOW Chemical after 28 years of employment. He enjoyed attending NASCAR races with Joseph King, cheering on the WVU Mountaineers, and was an avid bowler with Don Sigmon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Helen Cowley; and sister, Lynn Hall. Larry is survived by his wife, Kathy Cowley; children, Kimmi Goodfellow (Ted), Scott Cowley (Kristin), and Jennifer Cowley; siblings, Duaine Cowley, Paulette Cowley Thomas, Douglas Cowley (Gina), and Todd Cowley (Valerie); three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
