Robert’s Obituary Robert L. Eplin, 87, of South Charleston passed away on February 13, 2019. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran and later retired from the City of South Charleston after 27 years of employment. He loved the outdoors, especially rabbit hunting.

Robert cherished his time at home with his family. Providing for them, as he had always done, even as a young boy. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Florence Eplin; sisters, Mable Eplin, Virginia Scarberry, Betty Hanshaw, and Mary Holley; brothers, Roy and George Eplin.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carol Eplin; sons, James Eplin (Leanne) and Jerry Eplin (Tamera); grandchildren, Josh, Alex, and Anna Eplin; sister, Orpha Hager; and a host of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 16 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Roger Hartwell officiating.

Visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m., prior to service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
