Obituary for Monica Romain Monica Jean Romain (Huber), a longtime resident of Eastpointe, Michigan was received by our Lord Friday, June 15, 2018, surrounded by her children and grandchildren at My Doctors Inn in Sterling Heights, MI. She was 83 years of age. Monica was born August 14th, 1930 in Crown Point Indiana, daughter of the late Charles Huber and Josephine Huber (Jung).

Her strong Catholic faith was the cornerstone for the foundation on which she raised her family. Monica’s unconditional love and compassion were a blessing to every life she touched on her glorious journey. Her strong faith led her to spend over 50 years cleaning St Veronica’s Church among several other church activities.

Monica’s hobbies included, Yahtzee and card games with her grandchildren, along with, numerous trips to Dairy Queen and East Detroit Bakery. Monica married the late Raymond Romain on April 24th, 2004. Together they enjoyed family friends and traveling Monica is survived by her loving children ,Trish Wehner, Terrence (Angie)Wehner, Geraldine(Tom) Jablonski, Thomas (Deanna) Wehner , Jon Wehner and step-children, Sue (Fred)Stephens, Dianne (Tom) O’Brien, James (Sandra) Romain, Robin, (Paul) Budzynowski, Debbie (Kim) Gallop and Michael (Sheryl) Romain .

She is also survived by numerous cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She will be honored in a grave side ceremony surrounded by family and friends at Sacred Heart Cemetery at 10:00 Sunday June 17th 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Gianna House % Sr. Theresa Mayrand, 21357 Redmond, Eastpointe, Michigan 48026.

A committal service will be held at the Cemetery at a later date. Share memories with the family at www.
