Obituary for Muriel Borne Hebert Obituary for Muriel Borne Hebert Muriel Borne Hebert, 93, a native of Mamou, Louisiana and resident of Many, Louisiana passed away on September 5, 2018. A visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Landry’s Funeral Home, Thibodaux, La. , from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.

The burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. She is survived by her son, Everett John Hebert; daughter-in-law, Ramona Rita Naquin Hebert; two granddaughters, Alise Hebert (Blake) Ponthieux, Erin Hebert; and great grandchild, Zoey Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice B. and Ola Toups Borne; and a brother, John Berchmans Borne.

Muriel was a graduate of Mt. Carmel Academy in Thibodaux and LSU in Baton Rouge. She was a resident of Thibodaux and worked as a secretary for and retired from the Lafourche Parish School Board.
