MADISON-Surrounded by her family, Myrtle Irene Harrison-Keith’s walk here on earth has ended as she eagerly entered the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 23, 2018, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Judy Harrison. She was born on March 4, 1927, in Richland Center, to Joseph and Doralla (Rano) Leffler. She lived most of her life in the Madison area, and retired from the UWHC, Madison.

Our family has lost its “prayer warrior”. Her love for the Lord permeated everything she did. Every child should have been blessed with a mother such as her.

Myrtle is survived by her children, Patricia (Leo) Larsen of The Villages, Fla. , Randall (Judy) Harrison of Madison, Brian (Carol) Harrison of Madison and Laurie Harrison (Steve Kaste) of Oregon; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; foster parents, Daniel and Alma Manning; two precious daughters, Shirley Keith and Janine Hauptli; brother, Buster; and sisters, Jeanette, Pauline, Charolette and Lorraine.

At Myrtle’s request there will be no services. Memorials may be given in her honor to the Pacific Garden’s Mission, Chicago, Ill. The family wishes to thank Agrace HospiceCare for all of their help.
