Obituary for Nancy K. Spies Nancy K. Spies, 76, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Fountainbleau Lodge. She was born July 26, 1942 in Illmo, Missouri to John Wilson and Lorraine Ray Clark. She and Burley R. Spies were married in 1984 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She worked for Superior Electric for a number of years. She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. Survivors include her husband, Burley R. Spies of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Jim Park of Cape Girardeau and Marshall Hilderman of St. Louis, Missouri; two step-daughters, Robin VanGennip of Advance, Missouri and Rosalie Haney of Chaffee, Missouri; three step-sons, Ritchie Spies of Burfordville, Missouri, Raymond Spies of Chaffee, Missouri and Shawn Spies of Chaffee, Missouri; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one sister; and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with parish prayers at 7:00 pm and rosary at 7:30 pm. Funeral mass will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau with the Rev.

Victor Anokwute officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau. Online condolences may be made at www.
