Obituary for John T. Bower John T. Bower, 84, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri died Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Ratliff Care Center. He was born October 29, 1934 in Ava, Illinois to Grover and Gladys Talbott Bower. He and Barbara Stoffel-Hahs were married August 11, 1967 at Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He served in the Air Force. He worked for Schwerman Trucking Company and Nip Kelley Construction. He was a member of Bethel Assembly Of God Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bower of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Debbie Little of Cape Girardeau; one son, Randy Hahs of Cape Girardeau; extended family, Rev. J.C. (Theresa) Moore of Farmington, Missouri; two sisters, Carolyn Rogers of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Vivian Franklin of Farmington, Missouri; two brothers, Steve (Kathy) Bower of Ava, Illinois and Glen (Pat) Bower of Ava, Illinois; six grandchildren, Amy Slinkard, Casey Little, Jay Moore, Benji Hahs, Jeremy Hahs, Jason Hahs; and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jim Hahs; three sisters; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home with the Revs.

Phil Roop and J.C. Moore officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau, with full military honors. Online condolences may be made at www.
