Narcisa “Nancy” Ramon, 75, passed away on April 14, 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family. She was born October 29, 1942 in San Juan, Texas, daughter to Manuel and Sara (Martinez) Garibay. She grew up in Norwalk, California and graduated from Excelsior High School.

Narcisa worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Whittier Hospital in California and retired as a Registered Nurse for Sparrow Hospital (Orthopedic Floor). She was a member of New Life Assembly of God, Grand… Read More » Ledge. Nancy was a prayer warrior and knew how to fight on her knees.

She loved to worship the Lord. She could also cook the best Mexican meals and was an avid photographer. Narcisa was a loving mother and grandma and was very close with all her family.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Bernie, daughters, Cynthia (Michael) King, Lori (Beau) Gay, son/grandson Alexander Ramon; 6 grandchildren: Riley, Carter, Connor, Daniel, Rachel, Esther; 3 sisters: Lupe (Bill) Smollen, Mona (Larry) Bynum, Jenny Loera, and brother Manuel Garibay Jr She was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Carol and Lisa Ramon. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with Pastor Lori O’Dea of New Life Assembly of God officiating.

Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Okemos. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given online to “Assemblies of God Youth Ministries — Speed the Light” at https://youth.
