Deborah Sue Beers of Grand Ledge, MI, passed away on June 23, 2018, at the age of 54 following a brief battle with lung cancer. Deb was born in Lansing, MI on July 3, 1963, the daughter of Gordon and Patricia (Westrick) Rueckert. She was devoted to her family and friends and loved spending time with her grandchildren and dogs.

She was always willing to lend a helping hand and always thought of others before herself. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Seymour.

A Celebration of Life will take place 1:00 pm July 1, 2018, at Peters and Murray Funeral Home, 301 E. Jefferson St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Community Palliative Care, 2675 S. Cochran Rd.
