Obituary for Nathalie Boyd Nathalie (Canfield) Boyd, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Parkwood Village in Pratt. She was born February 8, 1936 in Halstead to Nathan C. Canfield and Opal Leora Huff. She was a 1954 graduate of Pratt High School where she played the clarinet in the marching band.

She worked for South Western Bell Telephone for 24 years and was a member of the Pioneers. Along with her mother she researched the Huff family genealogy information and printed two Huff books. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Ann DeVaney.

She is survived by son, Donald Boyd of Pratt; grandchildren, Jack and Tasha; and great granddaughter, Haylee; son, Mark Boyd (Rona) of Douglass; granddaughters, M’Kailalyn, Kayleigh, and Abygail; granddaughter, Roseann DeVaney Cade (Kevin); and great granddaughter, Madeline Cade; brother, Bill Canfield (Kaye) of Grand Lake Towne, Oklahoma; nephew, William Canfield (Carla) of Portland, Oregon; niece, Julie Canfield Davidson (Rodney) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; great nieces, Claire Canfield, Julia Canfield, Madison Davidson and Emma Davidson; and great nephew Drake Davidson. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Larrison Mortuary with Jan Blasi presiding.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Jennings Cemetery, Jennings, Oklahoma. Memorials may be made to Donor’s Choice in care of Larrison Mortuary. The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Village and Interim Hospice for the excellent care of Nathalie.
