Obituary for Neva Nelson (Martling) Neva Grace Nelson, 89, went to heaven peacefully on September 15, 2018 at the Northrise Village in Las Cruces. She was born to William and Nora Martling on April 16, 1929 In Cambridge, Kansas. She had been a resident of Las Cruces since 1989.

She is survived by her son Kent (Linda) of Las Cruces, grandson Zachary (Jennifer) of Las Cruces, granddaughter Halee (Darby) of Las Cruces and two great grandchildren, Alex Nelson and Charlotte Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her husband Lyle and daughter Cynthia. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff at the Village at Northrise for the caring and compassionate care they provided during her stay at the facility.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Getz Funeral Home.
