Obituary for Susan Ebbs Susan Louise Ebbs went to be with her Lord on October 9, 2018. Susie was born in Raton, NM on November 25th, 1949 to Nolen and Helen Clegg. She moved to Las Cruces at the age of 10 and was a life- long resident, who loved the view of the Organ Mountains.

She married to the love of her life Jimmy D Ebbs in 1966. She graduated from NMSU in 1971 with a degree in Education. She was a tough, but loving PE teacher & coach at Lynn Jr High (10 years), Picacho Middle School (10 years) and White Sands (5 years).

She was then the Head of the Adaptive PE Program for LCPS for another 10 years. Susie loved the beach, and traveling. Trips with the granddaughters and “making memories” were a top priority for her.

She was always available to help friends in any way needed. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy, 52 years of marriage. Their children Sudee Rhodes (Scott) of Alamogordo, and Christopher (Aubrey) of Denver, and her “other” son, Leo Barker (Tamara).

Three granddaughters, Kodee Weipert (Daniel), Reagan Rhodes, and Reese Ebbs. Her sister Joy Pearce (Rich). A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Church on Miranda, Las Cruces, NM on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 1:00.
