Obituary for Guadalupe D. Hernandez GUADALUPE DOMINGO HERNANDEZ SR. “Chucky” passed away at the age of sixty-six on November 10, 2018 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was born August 4, 1952 to Luis and Josephine Hernandez.

He was currently employed with Olam Spices and Vegetables. His true passion, however has always been in mechanics, quick to lend a helping hand, followed by smiles and laughter. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, compadres and comadres which he loved all like family.

He is survived by daughters Angelica Almaraz (Armando Almaraz), and Mary Esther Romero (Ivan Montoya) Grandchildren; Jose Reyes III, Guadalupe Domingo Reyes, Julio Reyes, Ralph Romero, Yvonne Romero, Marlinda Montoya and Ivan Montoya, Brother Lorenzo and Sisters; Terry, Tina Martha, Isabel and Susie, as well as several nieces, nephews, godchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Guadalupe Domingo “Vido” Hernandez Jr., parents Luis and Josephine Hernandez and brother Louie Hernandez. At his request cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 beginning at 6 pm with a prayer to follow at 7 pm at Getz Funeral Home Chapel, 1410 E. Bowman Ave.

Las Cruces, NM 88001. Inurnment of cremains will take place on a later date. Arrangements by Getz Funeral Home, corner of Solano and Bowman Ave.
