Oeda Brown, age 89, of Onsted, passed away May 12, 2018. Oeda was born August 31, 1928 in McVeigh, Kentucky the daughter of Benjamin and Ida (Short) Watts. On October 25, 1947 she married Rev.

David M. Brown in Gallipolis, Ohio. She enjoyed her many years of caring for children where she touched many lives. She served alongside her husband as a pastors wife to congregations in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Indiana.

She enjoyed singing and traveling with her husband as evangelists. Oeda is survived by her husband, David of seventy years; children, Denver (Louise), Rondal (Charlene) and Duane (Beth) Brown; grandchildren, David (Joy) Brown, Chris (Pamela Brown, Kelly (Kevin) Baughey, Karen (Jose) Munguia, Kayla (Dean) Anderson, Kori (Ben) Hunter, Melissa, Mallory, Ethan, Heavenlee, Greer and Gage Brown; great grandchildren; Madison, Jonathan, Parker Baughey, Ronnie, Troy Brown, Malana, Marrah, Mycah Munguia, Fenley Anderson and Ezra Hunter; sister, Betty Mollohan and brothers, Ben, Billy and Roger Watts. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mildred Knotts and brother, Jack Watts Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Tecumseh First Baptist Church, Milwaukee Road with Revs Ben and Billy Watts officiating.

Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 P. M. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
