Obituary for Ollie Marie Linkous Ollie Marie Linkous, age 95, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and attended the Clinchco Freewill Baptist Church and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Holt Linkous; her parents, Leonard James and Minnie Blanch Linkous; her brothers, Herbert Thompkins Linkous and wife, Betty; Charles Howard Linkous and wife, Shirley; and Bobby Lee Linkous and wife, Nancy; sisters, Ethel Mae Hileman and husband, Charlie, and Ruby Helen Fleenor and husband, Carl.
Survivors Include: Children: Judith Linkous Stanley and husband, Don Stanley, of Reva, Virginia; Robert Donald “Bobby Don” Linkous and wife, Anne Black Linkous of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; and Melissa Hope Linkous Ball and husband, Philip Ball of Ashburn, Virginia One Daughter in Law: Lindell Lucille Rose Linkous Sisters and Brothers: Mary Evelyn Salyer and husband, James of Castlewood, Virginia; Bessie Lou Castle and husband, Calvin of Castlewood, Virginia; Gaynell Linkous Skeen and husband, Jim of Mt. Pleasant, Texas Ten Grandchildren: Joseph Allen Stanley and wife, Lori; Cheri Lynn Stanley Norris and husband, Kevin; Ann Marie Metzger and husband, Lee; Carmella Marie Linkous Freeman and husband, Chris; Tracy Ann Linkous and husband, Derek Robbins; Jessica Lynn Ball, Ralph Ballard Linkous Jr. “John” and wife Susan Moran, Audrey Porter, Katrina Marie Linkous, Kristina Marie Ball, and Michael David Linkous Nineteen Great Grandchildren: Sarah Lynn Campbell, Carolyn Virginia Campbell, Cody Wilson Campbell, Andre Kay Stanley, Randall Cole Stanley, Hailey Jade Chaney-Metzger, Brock Allen Metzger, Coy Metzger, Christene Lucille Linkous, John Lacy Holt Linkous, Natasha Lyn Linkous, Lacy Marie Linkous, Cameron Michael Linkous, Justin David Linkous, Victoria Ann Freeman/Spears, Raegan Marie Freeman, and Rylee Tate Freeman Great Great Grandchildren: Dalton Cain Linkous, Anna Belle Rose Samuels, and Nora Marie Spears The family will receive friends, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Willard James “Subby” Holbrook will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at Mullins Funeral Home at noon on Friday to leave for the procession for a graveside service at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.
Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Ralph Ballard Linkous Jr., Michael David Linkous, Philip Ball, Chris Freeman, Cole Stanley, and Cody Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joseph Allen Stanley, Cameron Michael Linkous, Justin David Linkous, John Lacy Linkous, and Derek Robbins.
