Patricia A. Ketner, 86, of Bettendorf, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church of Pleasant Valley or to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Pat was born August 16, 1932 in Augusta, Wisconsin, the daughter of Kermit & Marcella (Ming) Hanson. She was united in marriage to Ernie Ketner on October 2, 1962. Pat had worked at a variety of places over the years, including Alcoa, John Deere and AAA.

She had tended bar at the former Paddle Wheel Bar & Grill in Bettendorf for thirty years. An avid Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan, she enjoyed all sports and playing cards in earlier years. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Ernie; her granddaughter, Genevieve Askvig of Coon Rapids, Minnesota and her grandson, Joshua Dekan of Minneapolis, Minnesota; her great-grandsons, Elijah Askvig and Henry Dekan; her sister, Arlene Staats of Burnsville, Minnesota; and her nieces, Bambi and Diane.
