PATRICIA’s Obituary Patricia Ann “Skokie” Skokowski, 72 years old of Antioch, IL, passed away peacefully Monday, January 21, 2019. She was born February 16, 1946 in Waukegan, IL, the daughter of late Alexander Peter and Jean (nèe Cankar) Skokowski, living in Chicago, Zion, and Gurnee, IL before settling in Antioch in 2007. Before her retirement in 2003, Patricia had worked for over 23 years at Abbott Laboratories as a bid coordinator.

Patricia was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Antioch, and the Antioch Senior Center, where she served on the Senior Council Board. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, writing, drawing, playing golf and was fascinated by astrology. She is survived by her sister Jean Marie Slovnik of Waukegan, IL; her nieces and nephews, Kristen (Kevin) Tuohy, Frank (Nikki) Slovnik, Joel Slovnik, and Amy (Jim) Gramer; seven great-nieces and nephews; special friends, John Cain, Mary Ann (Bill) Yukna, Deb (Jim) Sullins, Sylvia Estergall, and Paul Howard; and many friends at the Senior Center.

Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00AM Friday, February 8, 2019 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 557 Lake St. Antioch, IL 60002. Interment will be private in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH 1055 Main St. (Rte.

83) Antioch, IL 60002. In lieu of flowers, donations to Save-A-Pet (31664 N. Fairfield Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030) or Zacharias ual Abuse Center (4275 Old Grand Ave.
