RALPH’s Obituary Ralph J. Jacobazzi Sr., 91 years old of Manteno, IL, formerly of Antioch, IL passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Manteno Veterans Home, Manteno, IL. He was born July 4, 1927 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Nicholas and Nora (nèe Grjinnis) Jacobazzi, moving to Antioch, IL in 1991 and settling in Manteno in 2017. Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Before his retirement, Ralph had worked as a truck driver for Acorn Cartage and Delivery, Chicago, IL for many years and was a proud member of the Teamsters Local #705, Chicago, IL. Ralph was a former member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Bristol, WI and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Chicago and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodges #220 Portage Park and #525 Antioch, IL. On April 21, 1951, he married Theresa Niedzwiecki in Chicago, IL and she preceded him in death on May 27, 1997.

He is survived by his three children, Margaret Ann DeWolfe of Charleston, SC, Ralph Jacobazzi of Des Plaines, IL, and Thomas (Katie) Jacobazzi of Glenview, IL; his three grandchildren, Robert and Nicholas Jacobazzi and Christopher (Kelly) Clark; several great-grandchildren; a special friend Marilyn Lashcinski of Indian Creek, IL; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded in death by siblings, Vito, Rocco, Patrick, Marie, Madelyn, Angeline and Lucenia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM Monday, February 4, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 18700 116th Street, Bristol, WI 53104.

Interment will immediately follow in St. Scholastica Cemetery Bristol, WI. Arrangements were entrusted to the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002. For additional information, call 847-395-4000.
