LAWRENCE’s Obituary Lawrence Eugene Yopp: 93 years old, a longtime resident of Antioch, IL and Mountain, WI, passed away peacefully in his home in Mountain, Wisconsin on January 16, 2019. He was born May 30, 1925 in Highland Park, IL, the son of the late Lawrence P. and Frieda (Eggert) Yopp of Antioch, IL. The oldest of 3 children, Lawrence grew up following his fathers’ profession as a plasterer.

In 1968 he changed professions and he and his late wife Marjorie (Ericksen) opened Town and Country Interiors on Highway 50 in Lake Geneva, WI that they ran until they retired in 1995. He married Marjorie J Ericksen on September 4, 1948 in Evanston, IL and she preceded him in death on August 29, 2005. Survivors include three children: Donna Bocox, Karen (Robert) Tyndall, and Lawrence E Yopp Jr; 6 grandchildren, David (Jennifer) Coffill, Derek Coffill, Kyle Tyndall, Lauren Tyndall, Jason (Bridgette) Yopp and Morgan (Mark) Ackley; 5 great grandchildren, Brandon Coffill, Alyssa Coffill, Austyn Coffill, Lyric Ackley, Quest Ackley.

Lawrence was preceded in death by a brother James (Jimmy) in 1932 and his sister Trudy Petty in 2018. A celebration of Life will be held in the summer at his home in Mountain, WI. Please sign the online guest book for Lawrence at www.
