JUNE’s Obituary June Bernice Pribyl, 84 years old, of Antioch, IL, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. She was born June 12, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late John and Bernice (nèe Braun) Solberg. Her father, a mailman, and her mother, a telephone operator, she grew up close to Wrigley Field and it was no coincidence that she was a huge Cubs fan.

On August 19, 1967, June married Phillip James Pribyl in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on January 26, 2019. She was a devoted wife and stayed at home until later in life when she went to work for Frank’s Nursery, where she eventually retired. June was the most loving and kind person and would do anything to help anyone.

Her compassion and caring for others prevailed until her passing. June is survived by her children, Kevin, Lori, Kerry (Brandy), Lisa (Mike), Edward, Phillip Michael, Charlaine, Cathy (Brian), Christine; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Audrey Solberg; and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, Phillip, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly; and her two brothers, Peter Solberg and William Solberg.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002 with memorial visitation from 4:00PM until the start of the service. Interment will be private. For additional information, call 847-395-4000.
