Patricia’s Obituary Patricia Goforth Wright, age 64, of Lexington passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with the Revs. Craig Barnhill and Darrell Cartrette officiating.

Burial will follow at the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Ms. Wright was born in Davidson County on August 5, 1954 to Carlos Layton Goforth and Ruby Weaver Goforth.

She was retired from Kimberly Clark and was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be forever missed and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lester William Goforth.

Surviving are her loving daughter, Caitlin Gorforth Cartrette (Brent) of Lexington; her granddaughter, Jayden Cartrette; a nephew, Travis Goforth (Brittny); two nieces, April Smith (James) and Heather Adkins (Bruce); and a host of great nieces and nephews. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
