Patrick’s Obituary Patrick J. Hutchinson, 65, of Rhinelander, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, January 21, 2019. Pat was born in Winnebago County on Monday, January 4, 1954 to John L. and Katherine M. (Veith) Hutchinson. Pat attended school in Oshkosh and was a 1972 graduate of Oshkosh High School.

He received an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Fox Valley Technical College. Pat was employed in Oshkosh by Robbins Supper Club. While working at the supper club Pat began attending college at U. W. Oshkosh where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.

He then attended U.W. Madison where he received his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice. Pat was employed for twenty years with Outagamie County working in Law Enforcement. After many years Pat decided that it was time to return to his roots of Culinary Arts.

In 2004, he and his life partner Susan moved to Rhinelander where Pat was employed at the Rhinelander Café & Pub as a chef. He last worked the week before Christmas. Pat loved Astronomy, animals, especially cats and dogs, was a huge Green Bay Packer Fan, and enjoyed trips to Florida.

He will be dearly missed by his life partner; Susan Lucente, one sister; Kathleen (George) Henkel of Crandon and John Hutchinson of Neenah, Wisconsin. Also surviving are other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The visitation for Pat will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Hildebrand Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the 5:00 p.m. Celebration of Life. In memory of Pat, memorial contributions may be given to the Rhinelander Humane Society, 1852 N Stevens Street, Rhinelander, Wisconsin 54501.
