Obituary for Patrick Stack Sr. Stack, Patrick J. Sr. of North Huntingdon, age 74 died on Friday June 15, 2018 in Forbes Hospital. He was born July 3, 1943 in Braddock, PA son of the late Cornelius “Con” and Mary Audley Stack. He is also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Lisa Monte Stack and a sister Dolores Oberly.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Mary Ann Mackanin Stack. Father of Patrick J. Stack Jr. of North Huntingdon, Gail Fiorito and her husband Bryan of Monroeville and Casey Roberts and her husband Shawn of Murrysville. Grandchildren; Jacob, Kyle, Abby, Brody, Devin and Nicholas.
Siblings; Mary Connie Mulvihill and her husband Robert of FL, Maggie Allbee and her husband Elmer of Karns City, Cassie Hyatt of Reading, and Regina Stack and her companion Paul of NM and many nieces, nephews and cousins from here and in Ireland. Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 805 Pennsylvania Avenue, Irwin 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday, 6/21/18. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Friday, 6/22/18 at 9:30 AM.
Friends and family meet at the funeral home at 9:00 AM for parting prayers. Patrick was a 1961 graduate of Wilkinsburg High School, served in the US Navy, and was a Letter Carrier for 35 years at the Irwin Post Office. He was a member of Penns Woods Civic Association, NALC, and was a long-time usher at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
He was an avid high school and college basketball and football fan. He also enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to The Day School @ The Children’s Institute, 1405 Shady Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
