Patrick M. O’Brien January 15, 1956 – February 06, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Patrick Michael O’Brien, 63, of Columbia City, died at 3:20 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Parkview Randallia, Fort Wayne where he had been a resident for the past four days. He was born January 15, 1956 in Columbia City, Indiana, a son of the late Victor E. and Bette (Woods) O’Brien. His formative years were spent in Columbia City where he attended Mary Raber Elementary, Marshall Middle School and graduated from Columbia City Joint High School in 1974.

A life-long resident of Columbia City, he worked for Dana Corp, Fort Wayne with 30 years of service. He an active member of Elks Lodge 1417, Columbia City. Throughout his adult life he enjoyed playing golf, starting with the high school golf team.

He is survived by two sisters, Sharon Brunner, Columbia City and Vickie (Jim) Fahl, South Whitley; his caretaker, Lisa & Drew Mullendore, Columbia City and several nieces and nephews. An Elks Lodge memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13th at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Visitation will be 5 p.m. Wednesday until the service at the funeral home.
