Funeral services for Patsy Pauline Kesey, age 89 of Tyler, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale, Texas with Bro. Keith Irwin officiating. Interment will follow at the Lindale City Cemetery.

Patsy passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in Tyler, Texas. She was born October 4, 1929 in Flomot, Texas to the late Cisco Allen and Callie Alma (Calvert) Purdy. Prior to Tyler, Patsy lived in Hideaway, Texas and Pecos, Texas and attended the Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler and the First Baptist Church in Pecos where she taught Sunday school.

She also taught Girl’s Auxiliary and volunteered with the Ladies’ Auxiliary at the Reeve’s County Hospital. Patsy loved art, painting, cooking, and growing flowers and tomatoes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Joe Kesey in 2008.

Patsy is survived by sons, Ronald Kesey of Pecos, Texas and Monte Kesey of Monahans, Texas; daughter, Kristi Hickman and husband, Andy of Hideaway, Texas; brother, Bob Purdy; sisters, Shirley Nowell, Betty Lou Griffin, and Loraine Simpson; grandchildren, Jonathan Kesey, Joshua Kesey, Jacob Kesey, Kaitlyn Bowman, Leigh Hickman, Lauren King, and Landon Hickman; and 4 great grandchildren.
