Visitation and Funeral Services for Betty Lou (King) Miller, age 83 of Red Springs, Texas, are scheduled for Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Winona in Winona, Texas with Bro. Mike Ford and Bro. Jodie Brown officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with services immediately following. Interment will follow at Detroit Cemetery in Detroit, Texas under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Betty passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She was born April 27, 1935 in Muenster, Texas to the late Enoch Diamond and Edythe Vivian (Bradley) King.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby John Miller, son James Wesley Miller, grandson John Harlin Miller and siblings Charles King, Jean Cutaia, Bobby Curry, and Wayne King. Betty has lived in the Red Springs area for the last 49 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winona, Texas.

Betty had a sincere passion for crafting. She was well known for being an upstanding Christian woman, a wonderful singer, and for having a true servant’s heart, as she would gladly help anyone in need. Betty is survived by son, Larry John Miller of Red Springs, Texas; daughters, Billie Jean Lensing and husband, Mike of Greenwood, Arkansas, Vivian Leigh Pope and husband Rick of Tyler, Texas, and Lidia Miller-Cook of Big Sandy, Texas; sibling, Carol McClain of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; grandchildren Michelle Miller-Marsh, Mikey Lensing, Jeremy Lensing, Bobby John Lensing, Kristan Eitel and David Pope; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mikey Lensing, Jeremy Lensing, Bobby John Lensing, David Pope, LTC Glenn Marsh, and Wade Eitel. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be the Hearts and Hands of Winona First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The First Baptist Church in Winona.
