Memorial services for Chuck Weger, age 92, of Hideaway, Texas are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Lindale, Texas with Dr. Jack Cox and Pastor Michael Peschke officiating. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale. Chuck passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

He was born February 1, 1926 to the late Vern V. and Helen M. Satterthwaite Weger in Strugglesville, Oklahoma where he earned a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Chuck worked for Conoco until his retirement in 1989. Chuck served in the United States Army during World War II, was a lifelong member of the Shriner’s and Masonic Lodges and recipient of the Golden Trowel Award.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Weger on May 11, 1997. Chuck is survived by his three sons, Sam Weger, Dan Weger and Tom Weger; grandchildren and spouses, Michelle and David, Megan and David, Matt, Jake, and Luke; great grandchildren, Tyler, Sophia and Hudson; sister, Helen Jo Hancock; and sister-in-law, Billie Hubbard. The family would like to thank all the residents of Hideaway for their love and support.
