Mrs. Patsy Rich Gray, 77, of Swainsboro passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at University Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Gray was born December 14, 1940 in Swainsboro, Ga. to the late Elmo Rich and Lena Mae Black Rich.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rudy J. Gray, Jr.; daughter, Machell Gray; sister, Edith Lyon; brother, Bobby Rich. Mrs. Gray enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching Hummingbirds, and was an avid Braves fan. She loved her family and being a part of her family’s activities.

Mrs. Gray was a member of the First United Methodist Church for more than 70 years, member of The Order of The Eastern Star, and U.M.W. Circle. Survivors include her daughter, Deadre Hadden (Charlie) of Swainsboro; son, Rudy Gray III of Macon; brothers, Wyatt Rich (Bessie Neal) of Swainsboro, and Dennis Rich of Swainsboro; granddaughters, Cameron Hadden, and Sophia Gray; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Funeral Services will be in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 with Rev.

David Uncles officiating. Interment will follow in Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home.
