Paul C. Johnson, 80 of Mt. Pleasant, died unexpectedly, Sunday afternoon, April 22, 2018, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born June 1, 1937 in Scottdale, the son of the late Paul P. and Bertha Alberta Hollis Johnson.

Paul attended the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Mt. Pleasant. He attended the former Hurst High School, and was employed as an inspector with General Motors, Fisher Body, with 32 consecutive years of service.

Paul was a member of Standard Shaft Citizens Club and the Polish Falcons of Mt. Pleasant. Paul and his wife, Mary Alice, enjoyed featuring their 1960 Red Pontiac Bonneville Convertible at numerous parades and car shows throughout the area and was awarded many trophies and was extremely proud of his three first place trophies he received from General Motors Nationals in Carlisle.

He had a 2017 Corvette that he also showed recently. Paul and Mary Alice enjoyed attending Car Shows and made numerous friends at the events Paul was an honorable and kind man who loved his wife, Mary Alice his family and his many friends. Paul is gone from our lives, but will forever remain the hearts of those who knew and loved him: His loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Mary Alice Marcinko, whom he married Sept.

26, 1958. His Two Sisters: Cathy Krinock and her husband Dave of Latrobe Doris Grimm of Virginia A number of Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. His Two loving Pomeranians: T.J. and Powder In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: Two Sisters: Betty Gearhart and Minnie Bridge And his Brother, Robert W. Johnson, Sr. In honoring Paul’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or service.

Final arrangements for Paul have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale. Those who wish to remember Paul in a special way may make memorials to the Pet Adoption League at 150 Spring Street Yukon, Pa. 15698.
