Obituary for Paul Kemp Paul Kemp, 89, of Chambersburg passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at MennoHaven surrounded by his family. He was born June 20, 1929 in Chambersburg, PA, the son of the late Guy and Iva (Aldridge) Kemp. Paul worked for the Borough of Chambersburg for 38 years, mostly in the Gas Dept.

, retiring in 1991. He served his country in the US Army during The Korean Conflict and was a member of the Charles Nitterhouse Post # 1599 V.F.W. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Patsy Caldwell, three sons and a daughter: Edward Kemp (Sallie), Phyllis Pogue (Tommie), Douglas Kemp (Cindy), Michael Kemp (Lori); seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, a sister, Mildred Zandier and a cousin, Glenn Kerns (Donna), many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

He enjoyed gardening, bus trips, telling stories, playing jokes and especially, being with family. The service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Harbor Light Temple with Rev. Andrew Fickes officiating.

A visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Charles Nitterhouse Post #1599 Honor Guard. Arrangements are by Sellers Funeral Home.
