Paul’s Obituary Paul L. Brisson Jr., 71 of Merrimack, NH died Friday Jan. 18, 2019 at Laconia Center in Laconia, NH after a long illness. He was born in Providence, RI on July 9, 1947 a son of late Paul Brisson Sr and Mary (Patnaude) Brisson.

Paul proudly served in the Marine Corps and served three tours of duty in Vietnam earning the Marine Corps Combat Air Medal, Combat Wings, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, the Vietnam Campaign Medal and Vietnamese Presidential Citation Medal. After serving his country, Paul earned an Electrical Engineering degree from Northeastern University. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, the Marine Corps League in Hudson, and was a Marine Devil Dog.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by a sister, Beverly DeFelice. Members of his surviving family includes his wife of 44 years, Elaine (Keefe) Brisson of Merrimack; a son and daughter in-law, Paul Brisson III and his wife Lisa of Merrimack; a daughter Dawn-Marie Orlando and her husband Justin Cascade of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Arianna, Joshua, Patrick, Justin, Cameron, Sean and Megan; a sister Barbara Hardy and her husband Richard of Conway, SC and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack on Tuesday Jan.

22, 2019 from 5 – 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack on Wednesday Jan. 23 at 9:30 AM with burial to follow at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions online in Paul’s memory to Toys for Tots of NH.
