Paul Robertson Powell December 18, 1928 – February 14, 2019 Paul Robertson Powell, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 14, 2019. He was born December 18, 1928 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Abraham LeRoy and Veloy Robertson Powell. He was raised and educated in Price, Utah.

He graduated from BYU, was an educator, and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On November 16, 1948 he married Shirley Jensen. They were parents of three sons, LeRoy Paul Powell (Kay), Neil Jensen Powell (Carolyn), David Lewis Powell (Pennie).

Shirley later passed away. On June 10, 1975, he married Leah JoAn Porter d’Hulst and added Mary (John) Scott, Martha (Clair) Beesley, David Scott (Selina) d’Hulst, Earl John (Donna) d’Hulst and James Edward (Janice) d’Hulst to the family. He is preceded in death by his first wife Shirley; his parents; brother James LeRoy Powell and a brother-in-law Leo Blaine Freeman.

He is survived by his wife JoAn; his three children; two sisters Marie (Jim) Draper, Chloe Freeman and a sister-in-law Mary Helen Powell. He has 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his five step-children and numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

As per his wishes there will be no services. He will be laid to rest in the Ogden City Cemetery. The family extends a Thank You to the staffs of Mountain Ridge Assisted Living Memory Care and Inspiration Hospice – Debbie – for their compassionate care.
