Peggy (Eicher) Kreighbaum December 28, 1928 – December 31, 2018 Peggy Eicher Kreighbaum, age 90, of Elkhart, died at 6:50 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at Golden Living Center, Elkhart. She was born December 28, 1928 in Wakarusa to Dr. Floyd I. and Iva Mae (Wysong) Eicher. Peggy lived her lifetime in the Elkhart/Wakarusa area.

She was a Wakarusa High School graduate. Peggy retired from Miles Laboratory, where she had worked for many years. She was married to Fred Kreighbaum.

He preceded her in death. Peggy was a member of the Miles Retirement Club. She enjoyed reading and was a Chicago Cubs fan.

She is survived by nephews, Mark (Patti) Esenwein, Elkhart, and Scott Esenwein, Nappanee. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Eicher and Josephine Esenwein. Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Father James Bracke will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to Wakarusa Public Library. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa.
