Obituary for Peggy Mallette Peggy Davis Mallette, 74, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, beloved wife of Julius Mallette, died Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Born in Orangeburg, she was the daughter of the late John Hartzog Davis, Sr. and Frances McLaughlin Davis. Peggy retired from Bell South and was of the Baptist faith.

She was a devoted wife of 45 years, loving mother and grandmother who had a passion for shopping and spoiling her granddaughters. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are a daughter, Danielle Forman (Michael) of Greenville, SC; a brother, John “Johnny” H. Davis, Jr. of Greenwood, SC; and two granddaughters, Kelsey Frances Forman and Sophia Evelyn Forman. Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday at Oakbrook Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum with the Rev.

Chuck Sprouse officiating. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday at Harley Funeral Home from 5-7 pm.
