Obituary for Peter Ramboldt Peter Ramboldt, 70, of Beloit, WI, died Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Agrace HospiceCare, Janesville, WI. He was born in Beloit, Wis. , on May 2, 1948, to Sterling and Beatrice (Skutley) Ramboldt.

Pete attended Beloit Turner High School and joined the Air Force shortly after graduation. He served his country for four years in the United States Air Force, after which he returned to Beloit and married his wife Beverly (Foos) Morelock. She predeceased him in 2013.

They raised three children. Wendy (Danny) Laird, Chris Morelock, and Jaime Ramboldt. Although Wendy and Chris were his step children, he loved and treated them as if they were his own and would expect others to do the same.

Pete was a member of Central Christian Church in Beloit. He loved to meet on Saturday mornings with the “Bible Guys” to try to learn that truth that would “set him free” (and he found it). Pete worked at Electrol Specialties Company, retiring after 42 years of service in 2015.

Pete was very proud of his Masonic affiliations. In his teens he was a member of the Beloit Chapter Order of DeMolay and is now a majority (life) member. He is a perpetual (life) member and Past Master of Morning Star Lodge No.

10 Free and Accepted Masons, a member and Past High Priest of Beloit Chapter No. 9 Royal Arch Masons, a member and Past Thrice Illustrious Master of Beloit Council No. 1 Royal and Select Masters, a Sir Knight of Janesville Commandery No.

2 Order of the Knights Templar, a Nobel and perpetual (life) member of Shriners International and past president of the Beloit Shrine Club. He also enjoyed volunteering to work with Second Harvest and seeing the difference they make feeding those who are less fortunate. Pete was also a member of the Beloit Rifle Club.

He enjoyed many hours on the range and loved the shooting sports. He was part of the Hunter Education team of the club and, over the years, helped teach thousands of children and adults safe gun handling and hunting strategies. He is survived by his three children, four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, and brother William (Bill). Visitation of remembrance for Pete will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Beloit Masonic Center 229 West Grand Ave. Beloit WI, followed by A Masonic Lodge No 10 F. & A.M. at 2 p.m. Pastor David Meding will officiate a memorial service at 2:15 p.m. in the Masonic Lodge.

Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to Shriners Children’s Hospital or Agrace HospiceCare. Upcoming Events Visitation JUL 21.
