Obituary for Betty Jane Murray Betty Jane Murray, 93, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in her home. She was born February 20, 1925 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Edward and Anna (Olson) Larsen. Betty was a 1943 graduate of Beloit High School.

She married Norman P. Murray on January 27, 1946 in Westside Presbyterian Church. He predeceased her on May 30, 2012. Betty was formerly employed by the Wagon Wheel, Gibbs, Fairbanks Morse and Shady Tree Floral.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, family gatherings, going up North, cooking, bowling, going to the casino, and animals. Betty was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Betty was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her sister, Kay (Russell) Tiritilli; her daughter, Marcia Murray and her children, Dana Suddeth and Gary (Lindsay) Roden; son-in-law, Roger Thom and his children, Amy (Jason) Zastoupil and Brad (Jeana) Thom; 11 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, one sister and daughter Andrea Thom. A memorial visitation of remembrance for Betty will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, followed by a time of remembrance at 7 p.m. Upcoming Events Visitation , SEP 24.
