Obituary for Ethel Louise Paschke Ethel Louise Paschke, 87, of Beloit, WI, died Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Huntington Place, Janesville, WI. She was born September 18, 1930 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Richard Ernest and Mary Ethel (Hardesty) Rau. Ethel was a 1948 graduate of Beloit High School.

She married Russell Paschke on October 16, 1948 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Beloit, WI. He predeceased her on July 27, 2010. Ethel was the first woman postal rural carrier for the Beloit Post Office.

She worked for 22 years delivering mail on routes 5 and 3. Survivors include her six children, Chris (Dale) Larsen of Phoenix, AZ, Susie (Alan) Gjestson, Kathie (Don) Frye both of Beloit, WI, Russell (Patty) Paschke Jr. of Darien, WI, Joseph (Tina) Paschke of Clinton, WI and Thomas (Ed Lefforge) Paschke of Wauwatosa, WI; 16 grandchildren, Beth (Frank) Fairbanks, AJ (Laura) Gjestson, Drew (Alli) Larsen, Amy (Jimmy Crall) Gjestson, Devon (Jeremy) Knudson, Ryan (Adrianne) Paschke, Seth Gjestson, Katie (Tim) Baker, Erin (Ryan) Raber, Donnie Frye Jr., Sean (Pam) Gjestson, Abby (Adam) Zellmer, Kevin (Alyssa) Paschke, Matt Paschke, Mike Paschke and Eric Paschke; 34 great grandchildren, Rose, Lily, Frankie and Finn Fairbanks, Kaleb, Autumn and Dominic Gjestson, Anna and Mae Larsen, Jaren and Jacob Mortimer, Jillian and Kobe Crall, Nick Frye, Sapphire, Natalie, Sam and Kate Knudson, Hannah, Selah, Kidist, Samantha and Ava Paschke, Minessa and Shayne Gjestson, Timmy Jr., Teddy and Molly Baker, Bo and Eli Raber, Jack Gjestson, Arya Zellmer, Colt and Paige Paschke; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Ethel Rau, great granddaughter Quinn Marie Gjestson, in-laws Alfred and Mae Paschke, sisters Marjorie Mueller and Lucille Frisque.

Memorial service for Ethel will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 617 St. Lawrence Avenue, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Lucy Wynard officiating. Inurnment will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Visitation of remembrance will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the church.
