Obituary of Peter Young, Sr. Peter J. Young, Sr; age 47, of Bleecker, died Monday, January 21, 2019 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. He was born July 11, 1971 in Gloversville, the son of Clayton Young and the late Mary Smith Young. He was a graduate of Gloversville High School.

He was a self-employed automobile mechanic for his entire life. He was a member of the American Pool Association. Peter is survived by his wife, Katherine M. Cammarere Young; his father, Clayton Young; four children, Kathryn Young (Mike Purcell), Joshua Young, Karisa Young and James Young; a sister, Sally Taylor; his twin brothers, David and John Young and a grandson, Noah Sweet.

He was predeceased by his mother in 1990 and a son, Peter Young, Jr. in 2007. A memorial service will take place 2 p.m. Saturday, January 26 at Faith Tabernacle, 2 Warren St; Johnstown, NY. A private graveside service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
