Phyllis E. Trapani, 84, of Schuylkill Haven, became an angel with God on Saturday, June 9th, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother and best friend who always put her family first. Phyllis was born in Schuylkill Haven,on November 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Coller) and Isaac Gehrig.

She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, and Rainbow Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School and was formerly employed as a sewing machine operator. Phyllis is preceded in death by a brother Wilbur “Woody” Gehrig.

She is survived by her children Lisa Yanek wife of Robert, Mike Trapani husband of Jody, Shelly Boyer wife of Rob and Missy Roeder wife of Brian, all of Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren Luke Yanek, Kerri Trapani, Derrek Boyer and Brianan Roeder; sisters Donna Dabashinsky, Helen Noecker and Dottie Buchanan, sister in law, Nancy Gehrig, and several nieces & nephews. Services are private at the convenience of family.
