Austintown – Funeral Services will be on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Phyllis R. Evans, 84, formerly of Struthers who passed away at Humility House on Monday afternoon, June 25th. Phyllis was born July 7, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Larry and Josephine Casciaro Rossi. She lived in the area her whole life and worked at various nutrition sites.

She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Boardman. Phyllis was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball. She also enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.

Phyllis married Edward O. Evans February 18, 1972 and he passed away on April 2, 2003. She leaves one son, Larry (Pam) Miner of Youngstown; one daughter JoAnn Anzelmo of Austintown, Ohio; a daughter-in-law Jill Miner of Youngstown; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son Joseph Miner.
