John H. Courter, 59, of Boardman, died Thursday Morning June 14, 2018 at his home. He was born July 26, 1958 in Youngstown, OH, son of Donald and Margaret Jean (Wack) Courter and had been a lifelong area resident. He attended Poland Seminary High School and graduated from Beaver Local High School.

He worked in sales most of his life. His greatest joy was working with people. He was also active in local theatre, with a wonderful singing voice.

He was an experienced photographer, and enjoyed cooking, especially being the host of backyard barbecues. He loved nature and was an animal lover. John was known to live life to its fullest!

He leaves his girlfriend, Maria Len; two brothers, Robert (Colleen) Courter of Rogers, Ohio, and Donald (Melodye) Courter of Charlottesville, Va. , as well as his nephew, Zachary Courter. John was preceded in death by his parents.
