RALPH LEONARD “SONNY” HILDERBRAND, age 63, of Washington CH, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 10:30 p.m. He was born on March 13, 1955 in Fayette County to Ralph and Donna Cyrus Hilderbrand. He was a 1973 graduate of Miami Trace High School. Sonny was currently employed at Stanley Electric Incorporated in London.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing softball, power-lifting, hunting, and was an avid Ohio State fan. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandmother, Ruth “Granny” Harper. Survivors include his children, Carrie Hilderbrand, Jamie Hilderbrand, and twins, Jordan and Jonathan Hilderbrand; grandchildren, Jakob, Abby, Hannah, Logan, Wesley, Lexus, Kylee, and Trevin; one great-grandson, Kasen; brothers, Rod (Sherry) Hilderbrand, and Dave (Teresa) Hilderbrand; and his special friend, Joyce Chambers.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Joy Stanforth officiating with burial to follow at the Sugar Creek Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-8:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.
