Raymond’s Obituary Raymond Cheever, Kimberling City, MO, son of Raymond H. and Dorothy (Root) Cheever, was born on November 10, 1938 in Chapin, IA and departed this life on January 01, 2019, at the age of 80. Raymond had lived in the area for the past 17 years coming from Columbus Junction, IA where he was a hog buyer for a packing house. Before moving to Kimberling City, he was very involved with the 4H and FFA judging hog shows.

After moving, he was very active in the Kimberling City United Methodist Church and at the Kimberling City Senior Center. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eve Cheever and two sisters, Nancy Sayre and Judy Shuey. Survivors include: one son, Todd Cheever and his wife, Susan of Bloomfield, IA; two daughters, Tammy Lowe and her husband, Larry of Crawfordsville, IA and Tanya Stalder and her husband, Randy of Washington, IA; six grandchildren, Laramie Lowe and his wife, Maranda, Kara Lowe, Austin Stalder, Baylee Stalder, Trisha Thompson and Chanelle Thompson; one great grandson, Easton Lowe and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 in United Methodist Church, Kimberling City, MO. Memorial services will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Clif Crockett officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
